Higher International Certificate in Engineering (EduQual Level 4)

Our new qualifications in Engineering are designed to address an increasing need for high quality professional and technical education pathways at Levels 4 and 5, thereby providing students with a clear line of sight to employment or to progression to a university degree.

This course is tailored for those who are not looking to specialise in any particular area of engineering, but to get a well-rounded view of the subject to support in their career choice, or further education.

The course is split into 6 units. Three of these units are core engineering and are common across each level 4 course. Then there is a general unit on Structural Mechanics and Dynamics.

There are then 2 optional units which you will get to pick from a list of options.

To be awarded a Higher International Certificate in Engineering (General Engineering), you must successfully complete 120 credits at level 4. Each of the 6 units are equally worth 20 credits each.
